Where Fly Fishing is a Professional Passion…..

Wet Thursday……Sweeeettttt

Thurs. Oct. 10, 2013…..A cloudy, cool day today and with my son Ben home from UNC W on fall break going fishing just seemed like the right thing to do…..and it was awesome.

Pretty soggy to start, it rained on us for the first three hours. But it was game on, and I love weather days like this. Ben landed about 30 to 35 fish and several bigs…..including one 20 inch brown, three 18 to 19 inch rainbows, and one 23.5 inch beast of a rainbows….one of the prettiest fish I have seen all year.

It was great to have him home, got to fish with him two days and it was great. Tomorrow he heads back to the coast….

Have a trip tomorrow guiding Tony Pugh of Asheboro, NC, and a Saturday trip with Ron Davis and his two sons, they are from Winston-Salem, NC. Should be great….

Fall is here and fishing is fantastic….! Have a great one…..
