Flood Watch….

Sat. May 18, 2013 …….Wet and soggy Saturday as we have had heavy rains during the night and all morning. So much so there is a flash flood watch. Had a guided South Holston trip with Ken Doss scheduled for today but that fell by the wayside with the TVA releasing water all day and night.

Headed over to Ashe Co with two of my friends Brad Ball and Steve Starnes and we have done quite well despite high and muddy water. About 20 fish and two citations….the largest fish by Steve and it was a 20 inch plus rainbow.

Water is high and muddy and we are having to use big uglies and lots of weight. Any more rain and we will be done as its already high and muddy and won’t take a whole lot to blow things out .

One of the wettest Mays I have yet seen….and its not over!

More to come….!
