Thurs. Dec. 6, 2012….. Early start to the day, I am guiding Jeff Wayman of Brown Summit, NC, and we are about one hour from getting into the water. It is cloudy, cool, and we have returned to more seasonable temperatures. I expect we will do more nymph and streamer fishing than anything else.
Had a great day yesterday guiding Gordon Saunders. We caught just under 40 fish and ended the day with a 21.5" citation rainbow.
Water temps are in the 40-44F range and that is pretty much the norm for this time of year. The fishing has been great despite the low and clear conditions. I don’t expect the water level and clarity to be much of a factor as we are fishing larger water.
More to come, enjoy your Thursday…!
