Windy Day But Fishing Was Fantastic….
Thurs. Nov. 8, 2012…… Guided Tony Pugh, Asheboro, NC, today and we did very well landing a ton of fish, probably 60-70 fish total and 3 citation brookies and 3 citation rainbows. We caught them on nymphs and streamers and had windy conditions to deal with. Water temp was 44F when we started, up to 47.5F by late afternoon. A few rising fish were working too but what we were doing was working so we didn’t change til the end. Tony did a great job, it was a blast.
Doing a trip tomorrow will be guiding Dr Charlie Langdon and Chad Horelica, should be warmer and looking to another great day. It’s been a phenomenal week, lots of fish and 10 citation fish…..I always say cold weather is big fish time….this week proved that yet again.
Have a great evening, more to come tomorrow..
