Another Good Outing, Warm Weather…..
Fri. Nov. 9, 2012…… Another great day, guided Dr. Charlie Langdon, Greensboro, NC, and Chad Horelica, Kernersvilke, NC, we had a great day landing 50 plus fish . We had a high today of 64F, pretty incredible considering that we had a foot to 15 inches of snow on the ground. Not many rising fish, but the little winter black stones are hatching now on some waters.
We fished two long sections of river and did well even though water levels have dropped dramatically over the past few days. In a lot of areas we need rain!!!!! We fished til 4pm and called it a day. We caught mostly brookies and rainbows, and had on a 20" plus brown that came unbuttoned.
Have another busy day tomorrow, will be guiding a group trip , Greensboro Rotary Club, and I will be guiding the folks at Escatawba Farms. Should be a great day….
Have a good weekend and more to come tomorrow…
