Where Fly Fishing is a Professional Passion…..

Great Morning…

Wed. Oct. 17, 2012…..Started out pretty frosty and 31F when we stepped into the river. Second cast Don Brannon caught a 20-21" brook trout …..a fish I had seen days ago on a previous trip. We have done well, landing about 25-30 fish so far, caught them on nymphs, a Yellow Ice Dead Squirrel Streamer (what the huge brookie ate), and a Red head Zebra midge.

We are getting ready to have lunch and then head to some more spots. I predict we will get some rising fish by early pm… Also will be Tenkara fishing a little. Should be a blast, we could not ask for better weather.

More to come…
