Good Morning, It’s Early….
Wed. Sept. 12, 2012….What a great thing it is to set foot out the door this morning and feel the cool crispness of the air on my face. Feels great, and definitely feels like the nip of Fall in the air. Just getting ready to meet up with my client for today in Rural Hall, NC, Michael Deans. I will be guiding Michael on the South Holston tailwater in Emmett, TN.
If today is like our recent trips here this week we will step into the river under a heavy blanket of fog. I expect we will be midging early, and the we should see a blue winged olive spinner fall, then a mix of blue wing olives and sulphurs. Throw in a terrestrial or two….like a large ant and that is what our day should look like.
Should be a great one, hope your day is as well. More to come from the river….!
